I need help connecto from client to server.
I cannot connect to the pc server... can someone explain to me the correct procedure to find my ip address.
I am on a wifi router, if that matters.
I did ipconfig to find my my IP4 local address and attempted to use 192.168.1.4, but it will not connect!
I am getting this error when starting the Client:
Microsoft .Net Framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit the application will close immediately.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
Hi, one of the most common fixes to the issue you are having is to make sure you are running both the client and server in administrator mode. Please try this to see if it fixes the issue.
Another common cause could be accidentally not allowing the server through your firewall when asked to the first time you run the program. If you're sure you clicked "allow", then the previously suggested solution normally fixes the problem. If you are unsure, let me know and I can walk you through manually allowing the program through your firewall if you're unsure how to do so.
I hope it helps!

Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
I have been unable to configure Titan ACS firewall sertting in McAfee, unless i disable my entire firewall, but that is a different problem.
My problem now there is no established link between the touchscreen controls and in game activity. The touchscreen voice will announce the functions i am activating but the is no corresponding action within the game.

Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
For a odd reason the program did link about the 3rd time will rebooted the game.
I think more definitive instructions would be prudent for low brows like me that are not computer savvy!
By the way i still cannot use the progam without TOTALLY disabling McAfee Firewall. Even though Titan acs is not blocked. Is there another background program i need to add to the firewall exclusion?

Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
Hi, for the issue you're having with the commands not being sent to the game: This is generally caused by not having the Titan ACS Server set to "run as administrator", please try this and let me know if it fixes that issue. As for the firewall issue; I'm not very familiar with McAfee, but you should check to see that there is an exclusion for Titan ACS in your Windows Firewall settings as well.
Sorry for the issues you're having, hopefully we can get them cleared up quickly!

Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
Also, double check that the program you're allowing through your firewall is "Titan ACS (Server).exe"
Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
Fixed the issue with communication "Run as Admin"
Firewall is Baffling me. I will update with my findings, when found!
thank you

Re: I need help connecto from client to server.
I solved my issue with the firewall.
I had reset my WI-FI, and accidentally set it up as a Public WI-FI instead of home WI-FI (trusted).
Now i have zero issues , which were mostly self induced.
Thank you!
